Hail the Titans celebrate 100th performance

It has been just over two years since Montgomery’s own Hail the Titans held their first performance. In that time, the band has recorded and released a full-length album, recorded a follow-up EP and performed in 12 states and Washington, D.C. On Dec. 7, they will perform their 100th show at Head on the Door in Montgomery.

The show begins at 10 p.m. and is for ages 21 and up. Atlanta-based R_Garcia will open. There is no cover charge. Head on the Door is located at 5028 Vaughn Rd.

The following day, Hail the Titans will be part of this year’s Hijacking Music Festival in Atlanta. The festival is being held at 529 in East Atlanta Village beginning at 3 p.m. Other bands on the festival this year include Nigredo, Jungol, Swank Sinatra, the Sneaky Hand, Phychedubasaurus Rex, Tricil, Cusses, Fine Peduncle and Hanzelle.

Organic Hippie, a local head shop in Montgomery, AL, is holding an event on 4/20 to help Hail the Titans get a new van.

Because the band’s van is “beyond washing,” the store decided to help them out. On April 20, come by the shop at 5026 Vaughn Road in Montgomery for a $4.20 car wash.

The event begins at 11 a.m. and DJ Krystoph will begin spinning at 6 p.m. to keep the party going.
